This Minecraft display pit serves multiple purposes. 1) its great fun to watch sheep and creepers fall to their doom. 2) you can burn or display things at the bottom for the tourists. 3) it doubles as a garbage disposal facility.
This is one of the more elaborate homes I've seen in Minecraft. This guy has big screen HD TVs, stone+wood chairs, a pool table, glass walls, a fireplace, a huge deck, several guest rooms, a bar and a few pools.
You just need some obsidian and flint/steel. Make a 3x2 door frame out of the obsidian and light a fire at the base. A shifting purple portal will open up. Stand in it for a second or so and it will take you straight to hell.(minus rendering time)
The hell world looks a bit spooky but you don't see any ghosts in this video, just a huge pit of fire and lava.
These innocent minecrafters were building a wooden pavilion...then the lava came. The lucky ones were consumed by the flames and died within seconds. Others were severely burned and marooned in the sea of lava. Not a very pretty sight but that's the price we minecrafters pay for your enjoyment.
To complete the crafting experience you need to immerse yourself in all things minecraft. Put down your lowly records an plug in to Minecraft Epics. This song is a journey of a boy with an axe expelling creeps from his home.
In case you have no idea what these exotic pixelated pictures and videos I'm posting are about, check out this intro to Minecraft. You get some history on the game, what's possible and why you should play.
This creation must have taken some time. It looks like the moon or a meteor crashing into the planet of Minecraft. It would be awesome if the creator could do some time lapse thing where you can actually watch the moon smash into the planet. That would be infinitely harder but very sweet, especially if flying cows are incorporated.
Interesting fan art shot of a Minecraft scene involving a player chasing a pig with what appears to be a hanging pig in the background and a waving creeper.
1:1 scale model of the Starship Enterprise. Would have been much more impressive if he would have built this thing organically instead of using the editor but well done none the less.
I was planning on being the creeper for my company's Halloween party but no time :( Looks like this 10yr old is getting an awesome costume. Check out the reddit comments.
